Tim Green is a native Memphian and a product of the Whitehaven community. After graduating from Whitehaven High School in 2003, He received a Political Science degree from The University of Tennessee-Knoxville. After graduating, He became the youngest property manager for Asset Campus Housing and managed a property in Bowling Green, Kentucky. His work took him to Atlanta and Phoenix before leading him back home. In 2010, he moved back to Memphis and joined the BRIDGES team where he helped to recruit youth for all programs. In 2012, he received his Masters in Education from Bethel University. He began teaching at Grizzlies Prep Charter School in 2013 and went on to become the Dean of Students at Florida-Kansas and Freedom Prep elementary. He then took on the role as STEM Coordinator and Director of the Eureka! Program for Girls Inc. of Memphis and the southwest region leader for Profound Gentlemen, an organization that supports black and brown men in education. In 2017, he started a group called "Brunch and conversations" to push millennials in the city to talk to each other over food instead of over Facebook. Some of the proceeds from the brunches help him mentor young men in his community. He is a member of Leadership Memphis Executive Class of 2017, Board member for the Blues City Cultural Center and Ignite Memphis Volume 10 speaker.
